Dr. Patel completed a 2-year fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology (2022-24) at the UPMC Sports Medicine Concussion Program in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Patel was an integral part of the UPMC Concussion Program, which directly serviced the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Pitt Panthers. He also provided direct care for many other athletes and organizations at various levels of performance. Additionally, Dr. Patel provided treatment for non-sport-related injuries, such as falls, motor vehicle accidents, and other traumas, to a lifespan population. 

 

Dr. Patel actively contributes to advancing the field of concussion management and other neurological and neuropsychological etiologies. He has been a featured speaker at various events covering topics related to concussion and neuropsychology. His research has also been published in peer-reviewed journals and textbooks.
